Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell, (Fugees), for a cover of Eddy Grant's hit track "Electric Avenue". His star power was clearly apparent when Ky-Mani took to the Midem stage in Miami at the time the global musical showcase was staged for the very first time. Catering to an international audience with a capacity of over 20,000 people in the Cameo Theatre, Ky-Mani delivered an energetic set that was broadcast live by CANA (Caribbean News Agency) to more than 36 countries. Ky-mani is working on his sixth album. It will show his growth in his own right and will highlight the duality of his character Ky-mani as well as Maestro. The result is an urban sound that is deeply rooted in reggae and hip hop culture. The album is an amazing departure from synthesized pop that is commonly associated with this genre. It will instead be authentic urban hip hop and reggaefusion. The new single "New Heights" has been released on the 3rd March of this year.
