Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member for SSC since the year 2011. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. In her final year she served as director of lighting and design for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut.
